The location can’t be beat. We felt so lucky to be right in Baleal and wouldn’t change a thing. We loved that the surf breaks right outside the door were great for both adults and our children who are just learning to surf. We also enjoyed the restaurant one block away and sunsets on the patio. This is the best location in the Peniche area!

Simple accommodation in the most amazing location - the island is beautiful with pretty houses and gorgeous beaches. There’s a nice cafe for breakfast and two really good restaurants. Communication was very responsive and helpful.

Fernando’s place is a little gem. Fantastic location with on all sides of the house seaview. Unbeatable access to the beaches, beach bars and restaurants, less than a few minutes walk. We could park in front of the house. House itself has a very complete list of amenities, from a fully equipped kitchen, to a bbq, beach chairs, sunshades etc. Fernando was extremely accommodating regarding check in/ out times. So we as a family of 4 had plenty of space, good beds and gave this listing 11 out of 10 points. We will. Back soon.

Great accommodation for couples or small families looking for proximity to the beach. It's also ideal for surfers, as you can wash your wetsuit on the terrace. The furnishings are simple but very functional. Unfortunately, there's no washing machine, and parking can be a bit difficult during the day.

This is a great apartment in a really special place - Baleal Island is fabulous and the flat has views front and back over the ocean/beaches, with the sea air coming in all the time. Lots of good recommendations provided. For full transparency this is an unmodernised apartment so it’s a little basic but in a charming way. It also has absolutely everything you need (beach stuff etc) - but sadly no washing machine. Would definitely return and Fernando was very helpful.

Everything was perfect. For lovers of the South Sea and close to the very beautiful beaches. Beautiful orientation Nothing was missing everything was planned for the kitchen and the products and sanitary side. Living room lacks a little comfort Otherwise we will come back Sylvie and Nicolas

We had a very nice time. The view of the sea is wonderful, the apartment is spacious for a family with 2 children. And the two surfing beaches are only a 1-minute walk away... :-) The communication with Fernando and Luciana was great, we felt very well informed and very well advised when we had questions.

Great location, very clear instructions of how to get in, Fernando was friendly and responded to everything very fast. The kitchen has everything you can wish, I think even for baking. There was a coffee machine with capsules which is very appreciated by me. I booked it very spontaneous and that was a great find. Totally recommend.

We had a lovely time on Baleal. The place is convienient and nice. Lovely to have a view on both sides of Baleal and Sun on one Balcony in the morning and the other one in the afternoon.

It is impossible to make a more pleasant stay than this: exceptional location, generously equipped accommodation, easy communication. The house is so pleasant! You can have a barbecue on the terrace, admire the sunset and sleep with the window open, refreshed by the wind... only happiness and sweetness!

Ficamos uma semana na casa do Fernando com nossas duas filhas (7 e 9). O lugar era muito agradável e com a bela praia bem em frente à sua porta, perfeita para nossas férias na praia. A mobília do apartamento é bastante antiga e algumas peças como por ex. o mobiliário externo poderia ser trocado, mas tudo estava muito limpo. A comunicação com o Fernando e os seus colegas no Baleal funcionou muito bem e foram sempre muito receptivos.

We had a really nice time in Baleal. Perfect for a relaxing surfing holiday. The free apartment cleaning including linen change after about 7 nights (we were there for a total of 13 nights) was of course great!

Our stay at the apartment was excellent. The location is just amazing. The view is beautiful and it’s just a view minutes walk to the surfspots / beach. The apartment is very clean and more spacious than expected. The kitchen is well equipped and there is even some things for the beach (sunshade, wind protection). The communication with Balealrentals was great and easy. We definitely recommend this place.

The apartment is really well located if you want to go to the beach, take surf lessons and just relax in front of a beautiful scenery. In other words it’s 2 minutes from the beach. The apartment is clean and has everything that is beeing mentioned in the Ad, although very minimalistic. As for parking your car, the parking lot in front of the apartment costs 0,40€ per hour from 8-20hr, the parking in the small streets around is free but the peninsula is overrun with people during the weekends. So it’s not easy to find a parking spot on the peninsula. But in a whole we had a pleasant stay at Fernandos place.
